What drugs does IFIC use to fumigate exports?
IFIC uses two commonly used disinfectants, Methyl Bromide (CH3Br) and Phosphine (PH3), to fumigate export goods.
- Methyl Bromide (CH3Br): Is an active ingredient with superior permeability, capable of killing many types of pests including: insects, weeds, bacteria, nematodes… However, Methyl Bromide is a degrader.
